Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
Matthew 28:19

First Priority
We distribute Bibles at Wilson High School with their school logo on it. The students love it. This was started by one of our members, Robert Broadway. He was trying to find a way to get the Word of God into the hands of the students without violating any of the school policies. Many schools will not allow Bible distributions at school but his program works. We are the only church that supports this ministry. This was started in this last school year and has had a good growth.

Founded in 1899, The Gideons International serves as an extended missionary arm of the church. That bible you see in motel rooms was put there by the members of this Organization. The Gideons were started by 2 men who wanted to reach the droves of traveling business men throughout the Country.

We donate weekly offering from out birthday and anniversary donations to the Decatur Children's home to support the needs of our children who have no family support.

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
On a monthly basis we send funds to our state and local association which is used to provide our disaster relief teams.
A big part of our Sponsorship with Samaritans purse is we supply a self contained shower truck that deploys to disaster areas. This allows for victims of disasters to clean up which helps them feel better and prevent illness that may occur from contaminated areas.

Come to the Table
Our Youth ministry along with Volunteers from our Congregation provide a meal, games and bible study to children of all ages every Wednesday during the Summer break. in 2025 we extended this program through august to help local family's Volunteers purchase and cook meals, serving many children that may not get enough to eat when School is not in session.
Lottie Moon — the namesake of Southern Baptists’ international missions offering — has become a legend. But in her time, Lottie was anything but an untouchable hero. In fact, she was like today's missionaries. She labored tirelessly so her people group could know Jesus.

The offering was started in 1895 by Woman's Missionary Union® (WMU) to benefit the work of the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board). In 1934, it was named in honor of Annie Armstrong, a bold missions advocate and WMU's first national executive leader. Today, more than $2 billion has been donated by Southern Baptist churches and individuals to support thousands of missionaries in church planting and compassion ministries. Because of this sacrificial giving, millions of lives have been and continue to be transformed by the power of the gospel.

We participate in the WMU backpack program at Christmas which helps children in neighboring states, every year members of our congregation fill back packs with items we take for granted but mean a lot to under privileged children whose ages range from 5 to 18
